Ranbir Kapoor recently graced the inaugural episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. His sister Riddhima and mother Neetu Kapoor accompanied him. During the fun chat, Kapil Sharma asked the Brahmastra actor about his grand wedding with actress Alia Bhatt.
Talking about the joota Churai ceremony, Kapil Sharma asked, ”We heard Alia’s cousins demanded Rs 11-12 crore from you. Is that true? We heard you bargained those crores to lakhs.”

To this, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed, ”Itna nahi. I think lakhs mein shuru hua tha, thousands pe main le aaya,” Archana Puran Singh exclaimed that the money was too less. To which Ranbir countered, ”Gharpe hi shaadi hui thi”. The episode was filled with laughter and anecdotes from the lives of the Kapoor family.
Ranbir Kapoor also shed light on his journey in fatherhood by revealing that he is a very hands-on father to his daughter Raha. Neetu revealed that Ranbir’s face lights up animatedly after seeing his daughter. Ranbir also confirmed that he would love to bring his daughter on Kapil Sharma’s show.
