Ankita Lokhande, who is in the news for her latest release Swantantra Veer Savarkar, was seen upset with the media during the film screening on March 22. In a video that surfaced on social media, Lokhande can be seen scolding few media members for allegedly disrupting the movie theatre.
“Listen, film chal rahi hai, bahar chaliye. This is not right. This is really not done. Film chal rahi hai andar,” she was heard saying, while asking the papparazi to show some consideration.

Prior to the movie release, Lokhande was in the limelight for her appearance in Bigg Boss 17, and the controversies for having tiffs with husband Vicky Jain, who was also a contestant on the reality show.

Ankita Lokhande says she is ready to work for free
The Baaghi 3 actor, who once was one of the highest-paid TV personalities, said that she is ready to work for free if the project is worth it. Speaking to News18, she said that money never was and still isn’t her motivation. “Even now, I don’t run after money. I always go after the project. I’m ready to do films and shows for free,” she told News18.

The actor, however, clarified that this does not mean women should be apologetic in demanding what they deserve. She asserted that women should ask what they deserve and claimed that the situation for women in the Television business is much better today.
In her new movie, she stars opposite reel-life Savarkar, Randeep Hooda as the freedom fighter’s wife Yamunabai. According to social media users who shared their reviews on X, Lokhande impressed them with her convincing performance.
