Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav who recently made headlines for allegedly assaulting a YouTuber has now been arrested by the Noida Police. According to reports he was taken into custody on Sunday in connection with the snake venom case and was sent to 14-day judicial custody.
Elvish was arrested after a fresh round of questioning by the police. A viral video of the YouTuber with Police has been making rounds on the internet as well. Apart from Elvish, five more have been booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. The chargers are for allegedly providing snake venom for a party in Noida’s Sector 51 which was a sting operation by Maneka Gandhi’s People for Animals.

For the unversed, the case goes back to November 3 2023. Elvish was not present at the party which was held at a banquet hall in Noida Sector 51. The YouTuber was reportedly questioned several times but refuted all allegations at first. The sting was set to uncover the misuse of rare animals. And Yadav reportedly has helped them by providing contacts who arranged the snake venom. Elvish reportedly also posed with snakes in his videos.

According to reports, forensic investigation revealed the use of the venom of cobra and krait species at the party. Nine snakes were also found from the location and all of them reportedly had their venom glands removed. Eight of the nine snakes also had their teeth missing.
