Now, onto the plot – Crew spins a hilarious tale of three air hostesses fed up with their airline’s shenanigans, especially the delayed salaries. Sound familiar? Well, let’s just say the film takes a witty jab at a certain beer baron’s misadventures in the airline industry. Cough Vijay Mallya Cough. But fear not, Crew isn’t just about poking fun at corporate chaos. It’s India’s answer to Hollywood’s stylish heist flicks like Ocean’s 8. Picture this – a bunch of badass women scheming to make some extra moolah while serving up some serious style and sass. Need I say more?

Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Jasmine, a wild and free-spirited woman with a taste for super fancy and a bit of a kleptomaniac. Kareena’s screen presence is always impeccable and her performance in Crew is no exception and let’s not forget about how gorgeous she looks. Bebo plays Jasmine with such conviction that her character effortlessly becomes so relatable.

It was good to see Tabu in a glam avatar after so long and she served. Apart from delivering beautiful looks throughout the film, Tabu had great comic timing. She plays the role of Geeta, the senior most Crew amongst the three, who dreams of opening a restaurant in Goa with her husband played by Kapil Sharma. Her chemistry with Kapil is also off the charts and the two look like a real-life couple. Has there ever been a role that Tabu has not played well? The answer is probably no and her role as Geeta Seethi in Crew is no exception.

Coming to Kriti Sanon, with experienced performers like Tabu and Kareena Kapoor, one might expect Kriti’s screen presence to be sidelined. However, Sanon holds her ground and delivers a perfect six amongst seasoned players. Kriti plays Divya, an ambitious small-town girl who dreams of becoming a pilot but ends up being an air hostess. Since she has debuted, Kriti’s performance just keeps on getting better and better and her performance in Crew is a perfect example.

Now, onto the men who make a special appearance – Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh. These two heartthrobs may have limited screen time, but they certainly make it count. Kapil brings his trademark humour, while Diljit adds his irresistible charm to the mix. Ladies, be prepared to swoon!

Crew is a light-hearted fun chick-flick to watch and tho many scenes might not be logical, but hey who cares about logic in Bollywood? The movie picks up pace pretty fast but slows down a bit before the interval hits. The second act of the film does have several loopholes and might even make you question some scenes. But overall the film is sexy, emotional, fun, thrilling and heart warming at the same time.
