Ed Sheeran is one of the few international artists who frequent India to visit and sing for his Indian fans. This time, the English singer not only held a concert in Mumbai but also attended parties by many Bollywood celebrities like Farah Khan. The singer has now made his debut on The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Netflix India shared a glimpse into the most unexpected collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Kapil Sharma. In the trailer, Ed sang his hit song, Shape Of You, with a Punjabi twist. Kapil also jokes, ”You are younger than me in age but I am younger than you in English”. Ed also recreated Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dialogue ‘Bade bade shehron mein choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai’.
This left the audience impressed. Sunil Grover also comes on the stage to crack hilarious jokes with Ed. The singer also unexpectedly sings Paneer Pakoda song with perfect enunciation.
One fan commented, ”We got Ed Sheeran in Kapil Sharma show before GTA 6” while another wrote, ”It’s official, he’s not Ed Sheeran now, he’s Ed Sharma”. One fan also commented, ”At This Point, We have almost Adopted Ed Sheeran”.
