Ranbir Kapoor is creating a buzz with his role in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film, Ramayana. The actor has already started shooting for the film, and recent pictures featuring him alongside co-actress Sai Pallavi have quickly gone viral. The latest updates reveal that the film’s working title is God Power, and it is reportedly planned as a franchise, adapting the revered Hindu epic Ramayana.
According to News18 Showsha, the working title for Ramayana is God Power. To prevent any leaks, the makers have implemented strict measures on set. A source mentioned, “Curtains have been put all around, and surveillance has been tightened to avoid further leaks.”

Initially, Ranbir Kapoor was scheduled to start filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. However, due to delays in the God Power schedule, Ranbir will now commence Love And War in August, while continuing with God Power.
Filming for Love And War began in November this year, and it is anticipated that Ranbir will complete his work on Nitesh Tiwari’s film by then.
The Ramayana franchise’s first installment will cover the story of Lord Rama, his family in Ayodhya, his marriage to Sita, and their 14-year exile (vanvas). The first part is expected to conclude with the abduction of Sita by Ravana. The film is being produced with a substantial budget of ₹835 crore and will require 600 days of post-production work. In God Power, Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will play Mata Sita. There are also reports suggesting that KGF star Yash will take on the role of Ravana.
