Sanjay Leela Bhansali is gearing up for the release of his anticipated web show called Heeramandi. The series led by the likes of Manisha Koilara, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari and more has been the talk of the town. The makers have now released the full length trailer and fans can’t keep calm.
According to reports, the plot of the show follows a group of powerful courtesans who took it upon themselves to aid the country’s fight against the British. The trailer also shows them gathering information from the men in power to help the fight for India’s freedom.
The trailer was shared by Netflix’s official social media account. The caption introduced the show as, “In the glittering, regal halls of Shahi Mahal, romance and revolution clash in silence ❤️✨Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s sweeping saga of love, loss and liberation – Heeramandi: The Diamond bazaar ✨”

The show is set to begin streaming on Netflix from May 1, 2024. It stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal. Meanwhile the supporting cast will also include Farida Jalal, Vaishnavi Ganatra, Taha Shah Badussha, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, Shekhar Suman as Zulfikar among others.
