Jackie Shroff Opens Up About Tiger Shroff’s Movies Failing At The Box Office; ‘Depends On The Whole Team…’

Tiger Shroff’s last two films, Ganapath and Heropanti 2, tanked at the box office. Though he has given hits like the Baaghi film series and War, he witnessed a lot of flops at the box office. In a recent interview, Tiger’s actor-dad, Jackie Shroff, opened up about his son’s box office failures. The veteran actor expressed what his son needs to do in such a situation.

In an interview with PTI, Jackie said that Tiger needs a good technician and a good release. He added, “The boy has everything; he is an action star. At his age, he is the biggest.” Jackie went on to say that he should take it easy, as some movies work while others don’t. “This is life,” he said.

Citing his own example, Jackie stated that he has done over 250 movies, and not all of them have worked at the box office. He said that the success of the movie depends on the entire team, as it is a team effort. He said, “Mast me rehney kaa.” He further stated that one must appreciate everything that they have accomplished in life.

In the same interview, Jackie also opened up about his journey in the movie industry. He shared that everyone would not get everything in life; “it is impossible.” He added, “So, one has to understand that health, family, and friends are important.” Sharing some more wisdom, Jackie said that one should have gratitude for whatever they have.
