Jennifer Winget Reveals She Was ‘Upset And Sad’ After Losing The Night Manager To Sobhita Dhulipala

Television star Jennifer Winget recently opened up about missing out on a coveted role in The Night Manager, the hit series starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, and Sobhita Dhulipala. In an interview with Times Now, Jennifer revealed that she’s no stranger to such disappointments. Reflecting on her experience, she shared how she auditioned for Sobhita Dhulipala’s role in the series but didn’t make the cut.

“I had auditioned for The Night Manager but I didn’t get it. Aisa bahut baar huwa hai. And I loved the original show,” Jennifer confessed, adding a light-hearted touch by mentioning the presence of Aditya Roy Kapur, “And it had Aditya Roy Kapur! But it’s okay!” she said with a smile.

Jennifer further said that she doesn’t let rejections get her down. “Of course, you feel upset and sad but life goes on and something better comes along. I truly believe that every time something has not worked out for me, something even better has happened,” she mused.

The Night Manager is the Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed English TV series of the same name, which originally starred Tom Hiddleston. Meanwhile, Jennifer was last seen on the big screen in Raisinghani vs Raisinghani, which premiered on SonyLIV in February, starring alongside Reem Shaikh. On television, she last graced the screen in Beyhadh 2, a show that garnered a strong fan following. Additionally, Jennifer made her OTT debut with Code M, expanding her versatile acting repertoire.
