Mobile World Congress 2024 will take place from February 26 to February 29 in Barcelona, Spain this year.

The Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024) is almost here, and once again, the event will be hosted offline in Barcelona, Spain just like the old days. The biggest mobile show starts from February 26 to February 29, 2024, will be hosting a wide array of brands who will surely have many products to showcase and some new phones to launch in front of the world. Brands like Nothing, Xiaomi, Tecno and OnePlus have confirmed their presence at the event where the new products will be announced or at least teased in front of the public. Here are some of the big launches we expect to see at the MWC 2024 in Barcelona.

MWC 2024: Top Launches Expected This Year

Nothing Phone 2a

Nothing has teased its presence at the MWC 2024 for a while and now we know the reason. The company is bringing its new, so-called affordable Phone 2a model to the event, where we will get to see the design, features and probably more details about the new phone. Nothing has reserved its focus to the premium segment for now, but Phone 2a promises a new chapter for the company, one that everyone is excited to hear about. From what we know, the phone will use a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, come with 12GB RAM and likely to be priced under Rs 30,000 as per reports.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra

Xiaomi 14 series is getting a wider release in the coming weeks but all eyes will be eager to see the new Xiaomi 14 Ultra that will be unveiled at the MWC 2024 by the brand. The Ultra series shows Xiaomi’s seriousness in the imaging segment, thanks to its co-engineered Leica lenses that give it a flagship-grade quality. Xiaomi has mostly limited its release to China but the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is coming to more countries, and we’re excited to see what the new Ultra promises. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, but everyone is keen to see the sensors on the device.

OnePlus

The company might not have a phone to show this year, but we might see the new Watch 2 at the event. OnePlus has teased the product and the launch timeline suggests we’ll see the product in Barcelona later this week. OnePlus could finally use WearOS for its wearable, and after the less-than-convincing debut with the Watch model, people will expect a lot more from the brand.

HMD

HMD is moving beyond its Nokia phone days and we expect the brand to launch its multi-brand products at the MWC 2024 this month. HMD is going to have Nokia phones in the future but we will also see the HMD-branded phones in the market, and this week’s event will give us a closer look at the new products.

Tecno

The company showcased its ambitions with the most-affordable foldable and flip phones in the market. Now, Tecno wants to bring its second-gen products and it has decided to use the MWC 2024 as the platform to make it happen.

More Brands Expected

But the lineup doesn’t end there. We also expect to see brands like Vivo, Oppo and Realme at the event. And it would be a massive shock if AI isn’t a hot subject at the mobile event for everyone involved.
