Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri are all set to star in a new movie titled Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which was being shot, but has recently wrapped up.
The movie, which is a comedy, is being directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who is best known for directing Dream Girl and Dream Girl 2.
Recently, Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri took to Instagram to share exclusive BTS footage from the upcoming movie. In the Instagram reel shared by the actors, they’re seen spoofing the popular romantic Bollywood song from the nineties, Aap Ke Aa Jane Se from the movie Khudgarz.
The reel is captioned, “Hamara Dance Video.” You can check it out below.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is scheduled to release this year on 11 October. Its log-line, according to its official IMDb reads, “It revolves around the pandemonium caused in a small town due to a VHS tape containing an intimate video of Vicky and Vidya in 90s.”
Recently, director Raaj Shaandilyaa shared pictures from the wrap of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. He wrote, “It’s my third film as a writer-director, but I made this film as my debut film… Need your love, support, wishes, and blessing…”
This will be Tripti Dimri’s another big screen movie since her appearance in Animal, which introduced her to a mainstream audience.
She will also be seen in the movie Bad Newz, which will release on 19 July.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is said to be a typical masala entertainer, like Dream Girl or Dream Girl 2.
Recently, Balaji Motion Pictures, on their official Instagram page, shared BTS images from the movie and wrote, “97% Pariwarik cinema wali kahani, 100 percent complete. Lights out, wrap party on! Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video bids farewell to its shoot with unforgettable memories.”
