Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma were recently spotted shooting together. The pictures from the sets have gone viral on social media. While fans are happy to see the duo together, they could not help but wonder if they were secretly shooting for Wake Up Sid sequel.
In a video going viral on social media, Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma are seen shooting together in a house and then later, on the lawn. Their casual outfits matched their looks in Wake Up Sid 15 years ago. Konkona Sen is also seen in a white kurta with a dupatta.

It is not yet confirmed whether the duo was shooting for a film or an advertisement. However, fans are happy to see Ayesha and Sid back in the frame together. One fan wrote, ”all the gang members are there ..notice sikha talsania & namit das too..something related to wake up sid”.
Another fan wrote, ”Best things have started happening in 2024”. Many fans also wrote about how they would love to see Konkona Sen Sharma directing Ranbir Kapoor in a movie.
The 2009 film Wake Up Sid directed by Ayan Mukerji is a cult classic for many. The movie resonated with many young people then and still does for the newer generation. Ranbir Kapoor has come a long way since playing a listless and lost youngster in Wake Up Sid.
