RAW Capital Partners has launched a new, lower fixed rate product and announced that it has more than £100 million available to lend to foreign nationals and UK expats looking to purchase UK buy-to-let (BTL) properties.
The Guernsey-based investment management firm, through its RAW Mortgage Fund, provides specialist BTL mortgages. The company doubled in size in 2023 – now employing over 40 members of staff in Guernsey, Southampton, and London – and itplans to grow the RAW Mortgage Fund from £175 million to £1 billion in the coming years.
It has a new introductory fixed rate of 6.99%, with loans sizes ranging from £50,000 to £4 million on a single property, and up to £8.5 million to a single borrower. RAW Capital Partners lends up to 65% LTV. Its underwriting commences from day one and a decision in principle is typically delivered within 24 hours.
To date, RAW Capital Partners has lent more than £250 million to clients all over the world. It works with intermediaries – primarily brokers, advisors and wealth managers – and has lent to borrowers based in over 50 countries, including a strong track record in the likes of Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Nigeria and South Africa.
