Salman Khan House Firing Case: No Relief For Accused, Sent To 4-Day Crime Branch Custody By Court

Salman Khan’s house firing case has led to a new development. According to reports, the Esplanade court in Mumbai ordered the two accused in the case to be sent for a 4-day custody without any relief. The two Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were arrested from Gujarat and are currently under investigation for allegedly firing bullets outside Salman Khan’s Bandra home Galaxy Apartment as a warning for the actor.

Reports have revealed the accused at the time of the firing were carrying 2 pistols and had over 40 bullets with them. However, they had fired five bullets and 17 were recovered by the police. But are looking for the remaining bullets. A Free Press Journal report claimed a gun and two magazines holding 17 bullets were recovered by Mumbai police from Surat’s Tapi River. It is being said that the gun could be the same used during the April 14 shooting at the actor’s house.

The court agreed that more time is needed to backtrack their finances and find the real culprit. The police also requested access to call recordings of the accused to further verify their contribution to the incident. The court agreed and decided to extend their crime branch custody by 4 more days.

For the unversed, after the incident on April 14, Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi had claimed responsibility for the attack in a Facebook post. This is not the first time Salman Khan has been threatened. Earlier he was also threatened by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi demanding a public apology about the blackbuck poaching case.
