SRKian Waits 10 Hours Outside Mannat To See ‘God’ Shah Rukh Khan And The Internet Is Divided; Here’s Why

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has one of the biggest and most loyal fandoms in the world, called SRKians. From flocking to theatres to watch him films to worshipping him like a deity, these avid fans leave no stone unturned to support the actor. Gathering at his residence, Mannat, to get a glimpse of the actor is also a regular day in their life.

One such avid fan, @sristichanda, documented herself waiting a whopping 10 hours outside Mannat on Eid. She shared glimpses of people waiting in scorching sun just to get a sight of Shah Rukh Khan briefly waving from the top of his terrace. In the video, SRK is seen giving flying kisses and waving at the fans, a dream come to true for many.

The woman shared the video with the caption, ”The day we met Shah Rukh Khan. The stars, moon, and the sun were aligned”. In her video, she also called Shah Rukh Khan the ‘god himself’. The video garnered nearly 600k views and divided the internet.

Many called her out on referring to SRK as ‘God’. One user commented, ”He’s not GOD please” while another wrote, ”I am crazy for him too but please don’t call him God.”. On the other hand, many appeared exhausted with the obsessive fan culture. One user wrote, ”Unemployment in mumbai” while another wrote, ”faltu … Apne Mom Dad ko kabhi 10 minuts bhi diye hai kya”.

On the occasion of Eid this year, Shah Rukh Khan came out of his house to greet his fans waiting outside Mannat. He also uploaded a video of the same by writing, ”Eid Mubarak everyone… and thank you for making my day so special. May Allah bless us all with love, happiness and prosperity”.
