Tom Holland Caught In A Spiderverse Crypto Scam? Hacked Account Shares Cryptic Tweet

It seems like Tom Holland’s X account formerly known as Twitter was recently hacked. A suspicious tweet from his official account talked about him collaborating with an NFT-based organisation. He also announced NFT artwork and something called a spidercoin. The post has since been deleted but the actor has laid low on social media ever since.

On Tuesday, April 16, the MCU star announced his “partnership with @Binance in the launch of Spiderverse.” The tweet also shared a Spider-Verse-themed link called ‘spiderverse.app,’ asking his fans to “register to get early access to $SPIDER coin and Spiderverse NFTs.”

Fans were quick to realise the post was fake, many shared how the actor has never talked about crypto before nor did the Binance account didn’t promote any such “partnership” with Tom on its socials either. The actor has not posted an update about the same but deleted the post soon after.

Along with the post, the hacker allegedly also shared his inverted face with the post. The curly-haired individual spotted in snapshots taken by fans captioned the post, “would u kiss me while i hang from my web xxx.”

The post seemed to be in reference to the iconic upside-down kiss from the original Tobey Maguire-led Spider-Man film by Sony.
