Anil Kapoor On Being Replaced In No Entry 2 And Welcome 3: ‘That’s What Life Is’

The sequel for the hit movies No Entry and Welcome are in the pipeline. One actor who is remembered for being an integral part of both these movies is Anil Kapoor, but he won’t be featured in the upcoming sequels.

Recently, at an event to promote Bigg Boss OTT 3, Anil Kapoor spoke about not being featured in the sequels of No Entry and Welcome.

Addressing the issue, Anil Kapoor said, “Recently, I was replaced in two places in films. Now, what is the reason? I don’t know. But these things happen. We are just doing our jobs with sincerity and honesty. That’s what life is.”

No Entry, which will complete 20 years in 2025, originally starred Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, and Anil Kapoor in the lead. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film also featured Bipasha Basu, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, and Celina Jaitley in key roles.

Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, producer Boney Kapoor confirmed No Entry 2 and revealed that his brother, Anil Kapoor, who was a part of the first installment, is angry with him. It is because the actor wanted to be a part of the film, however, Boney Kapoor said that there was ‘no space.’

Speaking about the same, Boney Kapoor said, “I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did.” The producer mentioned that his brother is still not talking properly with him.

On the other hand, Welcome 3 boasts of an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, and others in key roles.

Earlier, director Anees Bazmee spoke about Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor not being in No Entry 2 and said, “No, I didn’t speak to him about it, but me and Salman are such good friends that if he had something in his heart, he would have told me. If he isn’t saying anything that means it makes no difference to him. I met him just last week. Whether we do a film or not, it makes no difference to our equation.”
