Her post included a reel from the movie featuring the song Dhoom Ta Na. The post quickly went viral on Reddit, with fans sharing their excitement in the comments. In 2019, at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Catherine Zeta-Jones expressed her love for Om Shanti Om alongside Michael Douglas and Anil Kapoor, where she danced to the movie’s title track. She said, “My kids have been brought up singing Om Shanti Om.”
Calling herself a Bollywood fan, she added, “I don’t think people understand my obsession with Om Shanti Om.” In 2023, at the International Film Festival of India in Goa, she shared, “I love the country (India) and the people so very much. My children grew up watching Om Shanti Om.” Michael Douglas also mentioned that their family sings the film’s songs every Christmas.
