Deepika Padukone Opens Up About Her Biggest Concern For Daughter Dua; Reveals How She Wants To Be Remembered

Actress Deepika Padukone is currently enjoying her life, away from the limelight, nurturing her daughter Dua Padukone Singh. Having made a few public appearances, after the birth of her daughter, she recently attended the Forbes 30/50 Global Summit in Abu Dhabi. During the event, she opened up about mental health, motherhood, her career as well as personal aspirations.

Opening up about her personal goal, the 39-year-old actress emphasised that inner peace is more important for her. Being a survivor of mental illness, for her nothing is more important that being at peace of mind. Quoted by News18, she added, “Easier said than done, because it requires work.” However, on a professional level, she wants to use her platforms, including the films she works in, to make a positive change. She said, “I see how I can use my influence in various platforms, including the films that I choose to do, to create a positive impact.”

As reported by the media publication, the Kalki 2898 AD actress was further questioned on how she wants to be remembered. She reminisced about her father’s teaching and shared that he always told her, “people remember you for the human being that you were.” Following that teaching, she revealed that she always wants to be remembered for the human being that she was.

Further during the interaction, Padukone shared that becoming a mother has reshaped her priorities. She went on to reveal her latest Google search was parenting-related. Highlighting how her daughter’s well-being is always on the fore-front of her mind, she added, “Definitely some mommy question like ‘when will my baby stop spitting up’ or something to that effect.” She also went on to reveal that during her “rare day off” she spends her time catching up on sleep, enjoying massages, and spending time with Dua.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Singham Again and Kalki 2898 AD. She is yet to announce her upcoming projects.
