Actress Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, Heads Of State, starring John Cena and Idris Elba. All set for a release on Amazon Prime Video, the film will be available from July 2, 2025, for the fans to watch. Recently, she organised a private screening of the upcoming actioner for her family and friends, which is being lauded as an “incredible” must-watch. The first reviews of Heads of State, shared by the actress’ close ones, are out, and it seems like everyone has loved the film.
Taking to her official social media handle, she re-shared their Instagram stories on her profile, leaving fans anticipating the release of the film. One person wrote, “Heads of State is a must-see! Priyanka Chopra is incredible!” Another person wrote, “Must see this summer! It is terrific! Congratulations, Priyanka Chopra.” One even shared a photo, where she is seen posing with the actress. She wrote, “Heads of State is on Prime next weekend! You HAVE to see it!!”

Talking about Heads Of State, John will be seen essaying the role of US President Will Derringer, and Idris will play the UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke. Despite being at loggerheads constantly, they come together amid their differences and rivalry to save themselves as well as the world from imminent danger. As they fight the bad guys, Priyanka’s character, Noel Bisset, a brilliant MI6 agent, enters and pairs with them to keep them safe.
Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the action comedy also stars Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle, and Paddy Considine in pivotal roles. For those who don’t know, the film will mark the reunion of John Cena and Idris Elba after The Suicide Squad. Set for a release on July 2, in India, the film will be available for a watch in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in Love Again (2023), co-starring Sam Heughan, which failed to create a buzz. After Heads of State, she has Citadel season 2 and The Bluff in her pipeline. In Bollywood, she has Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited film Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. While an official announcement on the film is yet to be made by the makers, media reports state that she also has SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s upcoming project, tentatively titled SSMB29, in the works.
