Garmin specialises in pro-level wearables and the Forerunner 165 series is an extended part of its lineup in the market.
Garmin, the US-based premium wearable brand has expanded its smartwatch lineup in India with the launch of its new Forerunner 165 series watch. The GPS-running device features an AMOLED touchscreen display and is specially designed for professional runners, athletes and offers advanced training modules and tracking capabilities.

The device comes with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display, a 43mm case and colorful, dual-shot bands. It supports Bluetooth and ANI+ for connectivity. It also includes health and fitness sensors to track Pulse Ox blood oxygen saturation, barometric altimeter, Floor climbs, Heart rate, Respiratory Rate, Sleep and more to keep a track of our wellbeing.
Additionally, the Garmin Forerunner 165 series also includes women’s health tracking for pregnancy monitoring, menstrual cycle along with exercise and nutritional guidance, as per Fonearena.
For music lovers, the device allows its users to directly download songs from Spotify and Amazon to the watch and pair it with headphones. Talking about the battery, the device offers 11 days of life in smartwatch mode and up to 19 hours in GPS mode.
Apart from that, the Garmin Forerunner 165 series also includes features like Wrist-based running power and dynamics, which means the athletes can see the real-time power and measure key running metrics, training effects to understand the impact of workout and additional activity profiles like trail running, open water swimming, pickleball, tennis etc.
Also, it offers adaptive plans for race and marathon preparations. Athletes can enter race details into Garmin Connect for tailored plans or use free Garmin Coach plans for 5K, 10K and half-marathons.

Garmin Forerunner 165 series has been priced at Rs 33,490 in India and is available in four colours Turquoise/Aqua, Black/Slate Grey, Mist Grey/Whitestone, and Berry/Lilac. Users can purchase the device from selected brand stores.
