Palak Tiwari Doesn‘t ‘Take Any Pressure,’ While Being Compared To Ananya & Suhana, As It Causes A ‘Hindrance’

Bollywood actress Palak Tiwari made her debut in the Hindi entertainment industry with Salman Khan’s multi-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023). While the movie tanked at the box office and left the critics as well as the fans unimpressed with the acting performances in the movie, she cemented herself, gaining social media followers. She recently opened up about the pressure she feels when it comes to being compared to her peers like Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan.

During a conversation with Mashable India on The Bombay Journey, she explained that she often just keeps her focus on her craft rather than the comparisons made between them. While talking about how she deals with the pressure, since they made their debuts at the same time, she explains that she tends not to take any pressure as “pressure acts as a hindrance,” when one is trying to do their best work.

Quoted by Hindustan Times, the 24-year-old actress went on to add, “Also, I find acting, most therapeutic. It has been my childhood dream to be an actor. I am most happy when I am in front of the camera. I am content that I am able to fulfil my dreams, so why should I think about anyone else? People will talk, and it will come to me later, but that can all be handled. For now, I am happy that I am acting.”

Tiwari goes on to explain that when she meets her peers at parties and events, they often discuss their struggles. “Everyone is on their journey. Everyone is going through a challenging time because it is hard to make a name for yourself at such a young age. We are all finding ourselves as performers, even Bollywood is reshaping its future, but I am sure we will figure it out,” she concluded.
