Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie Love & War. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. As fans are waiting to know more about the movie, an old interview of RK Jr has surfaced on the internet. Being one of the most loved and admired actors in the Hindi entertainment industry, he has amassed a huge fan base, over the years. During the interaction he recalled a unique fan encounter from the early days of his career.
While he is happily married to Alia and is busy raising their daughter Raha, he had once humorously revealed that he had a “first wife” who he hadn’t gotten the opportunity to meet yet. Recalling the incident from the early days of his career, Kapoor told the media publication that a female fan had considered herself to be married to him, just not in a conventional sense as she had gotten married to the gate of the bungalow he used to reside in with his parents late actor Rishi Kapoor and actress Neetu Kapoor.

Asked about his “craziest fan moment,” Ranbir narrated the incident involving his devoted admirer. He refused to call it “craziest” as it can be seen in a negative light. Quoted by News 18, he added, “in my early years, there was a girl, I never met but my watchman told me that she came with a pandit and married my gate. At the bungalow where I lived with my parents, there was tika on the gate and some flowers. I was out of town at the time, I think, so that was quite crazy. I haven’t yet met my first wife, so I look forward to meeting you at some point.”
For those who don’t know, after years of being in the news for his love life and dating his female co-stars, the 42-year-old actor tied the knot with his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt, who is 10 years younger to him, in an intimate ceremony. They got married in April 2022 and soon after announced their pregnancy. They welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor, the same year, in November.

However, it is being said that the film is set against the backdrop of war where Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will be seen essaying the roles of Indian Army officers. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is said to be playing the role of a cabaret dancer. For the film, both the actors have undergone a massive transformation as they are spotted with a military moustache and a lean, fit body. He also has Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayana, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra franchise in his pipeline.
