The Kolkata International Film Festival was attended by several celebrities like Salman Khan, Mahesh Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly, and others. The pictures and videos from the event went viral on the internet. However, what caught everyone’s attention was a video of West Bengal’s CM, Mamata Banerjee, shaking a leg with Salman on stage.

In the video, one can see Salman requested the CM to join them for a dance. The CM first hesitated to come forward; however, after Salman and Mahesh Bhatt insisted, she decided to get up and join the actors. It didn’t take much time for the video to take over social media. Apparently, they were all dancing to the theme song of the film festival.

Salman, who was one of the chief guests at the event, praised the CM for her simple lifestyle. While speaking to the audience, he said, “When I visited her house, I found that her house was smaller than mine. I am jealous of her. How can someone in her position have such a small house? Now I don’t wish for a smaller house, but she has given me a big complex. That only shows how simple people are, and we don’t need that much.”

When Salman was about to start his speech, the audience started hooting and cheering for him. To which he said, “Yuhi chillate rehna aaplog. Aur mujhe bolne ka mauka nahi dena.”
