Actor Sanjay Dutt is currently enjoying the release of his film Baaghi 4, co-starring Tiger Shroff, Harnaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa, and others. He recently appeared on Kapil Sharma’s Netflix comedy chat show The Great Indian Kapil Show, alongside his close friend and actor Suniel Shetty. Opening up about the time he spent in jail, in connection with the 1993 Mumbai bombings, he recalled how his beard had grown very long. For those who don’t know, Dutt was sentenced to five years in prison.
Recalling an incident from those times, he revealed that a man who was a “double murder convict” was sent to shave off his beard. He explained that when he had a full beard in jail, the superintendent told him to shave and sent a man named Mishra. As the latter pulled out his razor, the 66-year-old actor asked about his time in jail and why he was there. Talking to him, the actor got to know that the man was convicted of double murder and had been in jail for over 15 years.

Quoted by the Free Press Journal, the Dhurandhar actor added, “By this time, his razor had reached my neck. I asked him for what crime is he inside the jail, and he answered ‘double murder.’ I immediately held his hand and stopped him. So, a double murder convict had a razor in his hand, that’s just an ordinary day in jail.”
Talking about Baaghi 4, it is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who has also penned the story and the screenplay. Helmed by director A. Harsha, the actioner stars Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa, Shreyas Talpade, Upendra Limaye, and Saurabh Sachdeva in leading roles. A part of the franchise, the fourth installment was released on the big screens on September 5, 2025.
