Sky Force Actor Veer Pahariya Responds To Netizens Roasting Him For PR Overdrive; Here’s What He Said

Since his debut in the movie Sky Force last week, Veer Pahariya appears to be pushing his public image hard, or at least that’s what people online think. Many have had enough of his aggressive promotion, leading to him being mocked in videos and comments. Now, Veer is getting in on the fun by responding to these humorous jabs on social media.

An Instagram user posted a video where he talks directly to the camera, complaining that every fourth video he sees is of Veer Pahariya. He calls it “forced promotion” and mocks the actor’s PR team for trying to make Veer the new “national crush,” similar to how Triptii Dimri was after her role in the 2023 hit movie Animal. The user also says Veer has such a common look that he could find someone who looks like him in almost every other apartment in his building.

An Instagram user also talked about Veer Pahariya’s recent supposed publicity stunt, where he went to a theater showing Sky Force. During the movie, Veer danced with a girl in the audience to his song Rang. The user humorously noted that no one in the theatre seemed to know who Veer was, even while watching him on screen. Veer responded to this user’s video by leaving a laughing with tears emoji in the comments.

Meanwhile, Sky Force made Rs.15.30 crore on its opening day from major cinema chains, according to film analyst Taran Adarsh. This makes Veer Pahariya, who stars in the film, the highest-earning debut actor on an opening day. The movie, directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, tells the tale of India’s counterattack on Pakistan’s Sargodha air base during the 1965 war. Maddock Films produced the movie, which also features actors Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan.
