Marvel Studios took a long 5 hours long livestream to confirm the cast of their next awaited film Avengers: Doomsday. The makers revealed 27 major names from the massive franchise as part of the next big Avengers project. The livestream was ended by Robert Downey Jr, who asked the viewers to stay silent and hinted that more announcements were coming soon.
The long list of cast includes the likes of older Avengers cast members including Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Sebastian Stan. Meanwhile, the new regulars have also been confirmed like Florence Pugh, Paul Rudd and more. However, fans were quick to notice that some of the beloved stars did not make it on to the list, including the superheroes Spider-Man, The Hulk, Star-Lord, and Daredevil.
Following the major reveal, RDJ who will be seen playing Dr Doom, took to social media to praise the directors Joe and Anthony Russo for assembling an impressive cast. He also teased more casting announcements in his comment. He wrote, That’s what you call a deep bench of talent, actually it’s more like a row, but an extra long one. That must be it, right?”
Marvel replied, “There’s always room for more.”
