Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sister Shares Emotional Post On Raksha Bandhan: ‘Feels Like You Never Really Left’

Shweta Singh Kirti, the elder sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a series of heartfelt notes and stories on Instagram on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The video post showcased a collage of both the siblings, taking a trip down memory lane. Shweta remarked,

Sometimes it feels like you never really left. That you’re still here, just beyond the veil, watching silently. And then, in the next breath, the ache hits.”

She continued,

Will your laughter remain only an echo? Your voice, a fading memory I cannot grasp?”

Sushant Singh Rajput, known for such movies as MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016) and Kai Po Che! (2013), was found dead in his Bandra apartment on 14 June 2020, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The actor’s demise led to several conspiracy theories among the fans while also sparking debate surrounding mental health.

Remarking on the loss, Sushant’s sister wrote,

The pain of losing you is so intimate, so raw, that words shrink in its presence.

It lives quietly inside me, too sacred to be spoken aloud, too vast to be contained.

She quipped that they will meet again.

She further added,

I know we will meet again, Bhai.

on the other side, beyond stories, beyond time, where souls recognize each other…through the silent language of love

In her concluding remark, Shweta wrote

Until then, I remain here, still tying a Rakhi on your wrist in my heart, still praying that wherever you are, you are wrapped in joy, in peace, in light.”
