Swara Bhasker delivered a response to online detractors who questioned why her husband, Fahad Ahmad, wasn’t part of her Holi celebrations. The actress, known for her quick wit, didn’t hesitate to set the record straight after sharing cheerful photos of herself covered in colors alongside her daughter, Raabiyaa, during the festival in Delhi. The clapback has reignited attention on the couple’s personal and public life.
Swara posted delightful images on social media, showing herself and one-year-old Raabiyaa, born in September 2023, enjoying Holi at her in-laws’ residence. “First Holi with my little jaan! Gulal and giggles all the way,” she wrote, capturing their festive fun. But the comments section soon filled with queries about Fahad’s absence. “Where’s your husband? Doesn’t he play Holi?” one user probed, while another remarked, “No Fahad for Holi? Odd choice.”
Swara wasn’t having it. On Holi, she fired back, “Happy Holi ya’ll! Gentle reminder: it’s possible to celebrate our festivals and share joy WITHOUT forcing people to participate.” Her sharp retort underscored Fahad’s commitment as a politician with the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), a role he’s held since switching from the Samajwadi Party in October 2023.
The duo, married in February 2023 under the Special Marriage Act, often face scrutiny due to their interfaith union—Swara being Hindu and Fahad Muslim. Undeterred, Swara later shared more Holi moments, writing, “Love, laughter, and colors—nothing else matters!” with additional shots of her and Raabiyaa soaked in festive hues.
