Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan is all set to make his directorial debut in the Hindi entertainment industry with The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. Set to premiere on Netflix, the show is reportedly a satire on how Bollywood treats outsiders. Netizens have been eagerly waiting for an announcement of the project, ever since it was announced in February this year. The announcement video took the internet by storm as it saw SRK and Aryan coming together for the first time. Well, if you are curious about the project, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos recently opened up about it.
Talking to Saif Ali Khan during the WAVES Summit 2025 about the new titles on the streaming giant, he shed light on Aryan’s upcoming show. Calling it “really fun,” he revealed that he has already watched four episodes of the show. He expressed how he will be leaving it up to the audience to figure out the complete title of the show.

Quoted by Hindustan Times, he added, “We have a show called The Ba***ds of Bollywood coming up that is really fun, and I am going to leave the audience to try to figure out the title completely, but it is so fun. I am four episodes in.”

He went on to reveal that the show will star Lakshya of Kill fame and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas actress Sahher Bambba. Ted promised that the show will also have special and surprising cameos of Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and other Bollywood actors. Saif piqued that even his kids, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, have done a brief role in the show. He said, “I have to say I saw a little bit of that show as well, the one you just mentioned and it looked fantastic. My kids have done a little appearance in it.”

The upcoming Netflix show, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, reportedly also stars Bobby Deol, Mona Singh in pivotal roles. Said to be a comedy actioner, tentatively tilted Stardom earlier, the release date of the show is yet to be announced. The show is backed by his mother, Gauri Khan.
