It’s been half a decade since the global pandemic that forced Holi celebrations indoors in 2020. The industry has moderately recovered from the COVID-19-induced crisis. Several stars have seen back-to-back box office success. Arthouse cinemas and even documentaries have fared well, with accolades and awards. The order of the day is to down in a pool of colors and soak in the moment. Even as India celebrates Holi 2025, celebs have wished their fans and also the paparazzis who get them more views on social media (and elsewhere).
Taking to X/Twitter, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Kuch tyohar sirf manaye nahi, jiye jaate hai!” (Some festivals are not mere celebrated but are lived!) He further added, “From childhood water fights to gulal-filled streets, Holi is a festival that brings back the happiest memories. Hope this year brings you joy, laughter, and colors that stay forever. Happy Holi! “
Varun Dhawan, who was spotted outside his gym in Juhu, wished the paps a Happy Holi. So did Sonam Kapoor at the airport.
Legendary comedian Johny Lever and his daughter Jammie Lever also conveyed their Holi wishes.
Farah Khan and Ameesha Patel wished their shutterbug fans the best of the first of the many festivals to come. “ye saal sabke liye nahot rang biranga aur achha ho.” Ameesha quipped, before playing Holi with the paps.
Actress Karishma Kapoor took to Instagram story and shared a ‘Holi loading’ story.
