Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly again started filming his upcoming movie King after taking a break due to a shoulder injury that needed surgery and rest. A fan recently spotted him on the film’s set in Mumbai and shared a picture. The undated photo shows Shah Rukh in a new look.
On Thursday, a fan posted the picture on social media, and it was shared on Reddit that night with the caption: “SRK spotted on the sets of King.” The image shows Shah Rukh leaving a McDonald’s, wearing a white shirt, black sunglasses, and sporting grey salt-and-pepper hair. The photo, taken from a distance, doesn’t clearly show if his hand is in a sling. The set includes umbrellas, lights, and camera equipment, creating a filming atmosphere.

Fans loved Shah Rukh’s grey hair, with many calling it his “silver fox era.” One fan wrote, “Lord Sid has not dropped the ball on the look going by this pic at least. white fox nice. Kinda always wanted him to be in this space and vibe, styling-wise. Grey shade action drama. Big plus point short hair confirmed.” Another fan said, “SRK is back!” Many compared his look to Tom Cruise’s grey-haired role in Collateral, the only time Cruise had that style.
Fans are excited about the film’s vibe, with one saying, “Man, I’ve full faith in SRK and Lord Sid and the ensemble too, but I just hope that Indian Michael Bay doesn’t get carried away with all the hype,” referring to Shah Rukh and director Siddharth Anand.

King is Shah Rukh’s first big-screen project since his three releases in 2023 and his first time acting with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The action thriller, set to release in 2026, features a strong cast, including Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma, and Raghav Juyal, with Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Anil Kapoor in cameo roles.
