Sikandar’s Day 6 Collection Dips Sharply, Salman Khan Film May Miss Rs 300 Crore Benchmark

Salman Khan’s Sikandar, which opened strong thanks to Eid momentum, has now seen a sharp decline at the box office. On Day 6, the film earned just ₹3.75 crore—its lowest daily collection so far—bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹94 crore.

Sikandar has faced a sharp and steady decline in daily box office collections since its strong Eid debut. After opening with ₹26 crore on Day 1 and peaking at ₹29 crore on Eid (Day 2), earnings have dropped significantly each day, reaching just ₹3.75 crore on Day 6. This brings the film’s total domestic haul to around ₹94 crore, with a worldwide gross of ₹150.75 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Compared to Salman Khan’s past blockbusters, Sikandar is underperforming—Tiger 3 earned ₹175 crore in five days and ₹13.25 crore on its sixth day, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan opened higher and eventually grossed over ₹320 crore in India.

Among 2025 releases, Sikandar is falling behind major box office performers. While it ranks as the fifth-highest Indian grosser of the year—just ahead of Tamil hit Dragon—it still lags behind Chhaava (₹799.15 crore), L2: Empuraan (₹219 crore), Sankranthiki Vasthunam, and Game Changer. Notably, Empuraan earned ₹17.55 crore on Day 6 alone, highlighting the gap in performance.

Despite the star power and the buzz around Salman Khan’s first on-screen pairing with Rashmika Mandanna, the film is struggling to maintain momentum amid rising competition and mixed word-of-mouth. While fans were excited about the new pairing, the 31-year age gap between the leads sparked some criticism, which Khan addressed during the trailer launch.

Addressing criticism over the 31-year age gap between him and co-star Rashmika Mandanna, Salman Khan dismissed the backlash by saying that if neither the actress nor her father has an issue, others shouldn’t either.

Alongside Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, Sikandar features Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj in key roles. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
